The Junior B team had a brilliant win at the weekend against Feakle in a fiercely contested and physical championship battle.
Both sides went toe to toe from the opening whistle, with scores at a premium and battles taking place all over the pitch. Broadford went into the half-time break holding the slenderest of leads, 1-07 to 1-06.
The second half was every bit as competitive, with neither side giving an inch. Broadford showed great composure and determination down the stretch, holding their nerve when it mattered most to secure a superb 1-15 to 1-12 victory.
A thoroughly enjoyable championship encounter and a brilliant team performance. Well done to all involved!
