A wonderful victory on Tuesday last for the Broadford/ Bodyke under 14 hurlers. This academy side took on Parteen/Meelick first team in Meelick who had topped the group before this final.
An inspiring display from Broadford’s Lorcan Williams who amassed a personal tally of 4-2 from
play over the hour.
The game finished 6-8 to 2-8 in favour of Broadford/ Bodyke boys.
Afterwards joint captains Aaron Gissane and Jason O’Donnell accepted the cup on behalf of the players. Well done to all players, management and parents who devote their time and energy to help their son's achieve silverware like this.
